Additional Info

Introducing Caitlin Miers,
"I'm a 20 year old student studying photography at RMIT in Melbourne and I'm a huge fan of the work you've been doing on your site! My dream is to one day be a surf photographer and focus on shooting girls surfing. I'm also in the middle of planning a Girls Surf Photography Doco focusing on combining healthy eating and surfing with a few young groms from down on the Mornington Peninsula. Here are some of my recent images, enjoy!"

Sisters Of The Sea
Additional Info

There’s a bunch of chicks I know who have one thing in common. They all love to surf. This bunch especially. And they’re also especially good at it too. Meet Molly O’Neill, Maddie Gross, Tarryn Wilson, Leana Rack, Kath Moore and Libby Caskey. The ocean brings them together and the waves unite them.
It's not unusual to see more women in the line up in Byron than men on some days. You'll see them sliding around on glassy little peelers off the point at The Pass, looking like they're walking on water.

Sally Fitzgibbons V's Laura Enever
Additional Info
In a heated ASP World Tour battle during the Drug Aware Margaret River Pro, Australian surfers Sally Fitzgibbons and Laura Enever fight for the score resulting in an interference call. As Enever drops in going left, Fitzgibbons goes right crossing paths with the competition and described the physical maneuver to be, "like a rugby check." A second interference call was made on Laura Enever on a different wave against Hawaiian Alana Blanchard, the winner of the three-man squabble.
