Getting To Know Chelsea Williams

Chelsea is a 27 year old goofy footer who's home break is 'The Farm, Port Kembla'. Chelsea was the 2011 ASP World Champion of Women's Longboarding but lost narrowly to Kelia Moniz at this years 2012 Swatch Girls Pro held in China. It is crazy to read the long list of achievements tallied up by Chelsea, 1st at 'Malfunction' a total of 6 times, 1st at 'Noosa Festival of Surfing' a total of 5 times, 1st at the 'Australian Longboard Titles' a total of 4 times, and the 'ALB Peer Poll Award' a total of 6 times!

Getting To Know Amee Donohoe

For 12 years Amee Donohoe was a professional surfer on the women’s circuit. She showed great skill and ability to reach number five in the world. Becoming the best in the world meant she “was consumed with dedication and passion it takes to reach such a place.” Being a professional surfer was a “great journey” but felt after surfing for so long that she would also want study.

Im sitting quite far down the point at Lennox waiting for a wide set and from a distance up near the peak I see a bikini clad ripper sending spray four to six feet off the lip of each top turn. Instantly I think it’s Tyler Wright but as she flies down the line I soon realise that it’s Tyler’s sister Kirby and she is ripping! As Kirby flies past and the next set wave lines up along the point, Tyler comes from around a deep section and proceeds to carve one of the most powerful forehand gouging top turns I have ever seen.
